Irish storyteller Jack Lynch performs and presents a talk, illustrated with stories, songs and personal reminiscences, with a view to encouraging the setting up a project to establish a Schools Collection amongst school children inspired by the famous Irish Schools Collection of 1937/38. The grandparent-grandchild relationship is a vital one and storytelling and the passing-on of a
record of cultural traditions can be a wonderful meeting place. Those who have survived the past with a noble dignity can give strength to a new generation to face their own circumstances in a
proud and fearless way.
