For groups looking for personalized instruction, Sijal offers flexible, custom-designed programming. These special programs can range in length, from a few weeks to a summer or semester-long program, depending on a group's interest. The program curriculum can be designed with a variety of specific focuses in mind i.e. human rights, local NGO work, domestic travel, intensive Arabic instruction, etc.
STUDY ABROAD
Sijal has experience conducting study abroad programs for academic groups ranging from high school to university level students. Such programs can range in length, from a couple weeks to an entire semester. Sijal is able to design a full itinerary, depending on the needs and interests of the students. All aspects of a program can be arranged by Sijal, including Arabic language curriculum, accommodations, travel, language partners and cultural activities. Please note that Sijal is unable to offer custom programs for military organizations.
LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
Sijal can work with local organizations or institutions to create tailored Arabic programs that meet specific needs or goals. Programs can focus on Arabic for a particular sector or line of work and can include both MSA and/or Colloquial Levantine Arabic for all language levels. Sijal instructors are also available to teach programs onsite at an organization's work or office space.
